PADUA, Joselito ’Lito’

It is with great sadness that the family of Joselito ‘Lito’ Padua announce his sudden passing on May 25, 2021 at Scarborough Health Network. Lito is survived by his 5 children Gilbert (Lorellie), Jennifer (Winston), Joselito Jr (May), Jocelyn (Bryan), and Jovie (Adrian). Loving ‘Lolo’ to his many grandchildren Jarod, Shylehn, Marshaan, Tai, Kaelyn, Jaelon, Alexa, Addison, Keean, Avery, Alyssa, Donovan and Audrey. ‘Kuya’ will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sisters Minaflor (Romeo), Michelene, Francina (Ronald), Florita (late husband Luisito), Ruby and his brother Anthony (Mark). His loving and protective nature will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends from around the world.

Lito will always be remembered for his meticulous way of living from organized shelves to perfectly cut vegetables. He was a man of many ‘dad jokes’ but at the same time very disciplined. Above all he loved his family with all his heart and he will never be forgotten.

Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of Scarborough Health Network, who worked tirelessly to keep him comfortable and especially to Lito’s cousin Salvador Jr. who was able to provide a sense of family during his last days at the hospital.

The family would also like to extend its deepest gratitude for the outpouring of prayers, remembrances and support during this difficult time. Please continue to celebrate the life of Lito by sharing your memories and photos in the online guestbook.

Due to Covid restrictions the in-person visitation will only be immediate family members. A link is provided to stream the visitation on Sunday, May 30th between 4:00pm-8:00pm. The funeral will remain private for the limited family members.
