Josef Lehner

December 15, 1933 -  April 29, 2018

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Josef Lehner born December 15, 1933 in Lucerne Switzerland. Josef immigrated to Canada in 1956 settling in Bramalea most of his life. He retired from Molson’s as a mechanic in 1997. His final years were spent in Burlington at Cama Woodlands. He was married for 50 years to Wilma Lehner nee Schnalzger (predeceased) enjoying much free time travelling, yodelling and entertaining friends and family at the cottage.
He leaves behind daughters Bernadette Lehner and Esther Robert (Norman), two grandchildren Sarah Rosendaal, Kyle MacTaggart (Kelsey) and relatives in Switzerland and Wisconsin.
Special thanks to the staff at Cama Woodlands LTC for their loving care, compassion, kindness and warm hearts towards our father and Opa.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a private burial at a later date. Rest In Peace Opa. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to McMaster Children's Hospital and Alzheimer's Society.

Joe and his wife Wilma both were Canada for me. I spent many hours at their lovely Swiss-Austrian-Canadian cottage and I have so many good memories with them. Rest in peace Joe.
