Jose Melo Travassos. Beloved Husband to the late Maria Travassos. Beloved Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. He was known as Dad, Vavo and some called him Papa. He came to Canada looking to provide for his family as a Cabinet Maker. He loved to watch his Portuguese Soap Operas with a dessert on hand. His favourite was Massa, he would always have a fresh loaf of Massa to enjoy. He was a simple person and enjoyed the company of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His face would light up when they entered the room with a big smile. He peacefully passed just 4 days shy of his 90th Birthday. He will be dearly missed and always in our hearts.
