It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of my father Jose Elmiro Nascimento, a loving husband and devoted father, who peacefully passed away on March 4, 2025, following a battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Stella Nascimento, their children, Lina & Lisa Nascimento, and granddaughter Ava Zeferino. My dad Jose Elmiro Nascimento will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, dedication to family, and his love for his favorite soccer team Benfica. My father was a great man, stubborn but the best and he will never be forgotten by his entire family, his sister, his brother, and his nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Centre for 9 am, and 10 am Mass, followed by the burial at Beechwood Cemetery on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
