Jon Robert Harrington, age 82, passed away peacefully at the Extendicare Nursing Home in Brampton, Ontario on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Jon was born August 28, 1938 in Montreal, Quebec. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife Doreen Harrington, sons Daniel (Stephanie) and David (Andrea), and grandchildren Nicholas, Scott, and Joelle.

Although our hearts are heavy, we take comfort knowing that Jon is in heaven relishing his next adventure. The Harrington family wishes to thank the many caring staff, nurses, doctors, PSW’s, and volunteers at Brampton Extendicare for their kind and compassionate care over the past 7 years and during Jon’s final days. The family requests memorial donations to the Peel Alzheimer’s Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Interment of cremated remains followed by a private family service will be held at a future date.
