Our condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father. The few times we met he was so lovely and by the sounds of it lived a very full exciting life. May your memories give you comfort and last a life time. Colleen,Dan,Jordan and Abby
I have fond memories of Mr. Powell visiting Sue during our years together as roommates at Queens. He was always so warm and had a great sense of humour. Sending love to Sue and her whole family.
So sorry for your loss. John was always so kind and welcoming. He always told a good story. You are in our thoughts and our prayers.
Love,
Alyssa, Jason, Jasper and Abby Van Schie
John has been part of my growing up. He was the elder cousin who told us scary stories around the campfire at the cottage. The one who would take us for rides in his black austin healey, that is, if we polished the wire wheels. I'd call him for advice on my tropical fish. Our families snow skiied together and summered together at the cottage. There are so many good memories.
Many many fond memories of Uncle John at the cottage, at Owl's Head skiing, visiting us in Canmore and on infamous camping trips. Lots of love and hugs to all of you at this sad time.
