I’m sharing in your sadness and grief as you remember your beloved father.
he was a great Father and will be greatly missed
We were close brothers(and friends).More so in the years since Rose left this earth.I would drive over, mostly on Sunday afternoons to watch the golf games, especially if Tiger Woods was playing and sit with him for several hours drinking coffee. He was happy when I told him I researched our mother and thanks to "Ancestry"and a neighbour of hers in Ireland found her back in Co Tyrone at 97 years old.She passed suddenly(just like John).John was kind to everyone whose life he touched and I will miss him Terribly.
I’m very sorry for your loss. Thinking of your family at this difficult time.
My Uncle John was a special relative to me. I lived my Aunt Rose and Uncle John for a bit in 1981 before and during the passing of my Mother. Uncle John introduced me to raisin toast and as some of us know he made the Worlds Best Coffee! Whenever we'd go over to his place for family gatherings, he'd always make a point of telling me all about his latest hobby whether it was photography or video taping, on many occasions allowing me to be the Videographer at our get togethers. I'm sure those tapes still exist. They would be a hoot to see now! Aunt Rose and Uncle John's long marriage is a testament to their love for each and something for all of us to strive for. Uncle John I will speak of you til the day I die. Much love.
