John Travis Lytle

April 17, 1954 -  July 4, 2017

Passed peacefully in the arms of his loving wife Nancy on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017. Proud father of Andrew (Lauren), and Kate Lytle Elsinger. Proud stepfather of Adrian Preston (Brenna) and Mark Preston. Loving grandpa of sweet Zoe. Travis leaves behind his adoring parents Kenneth and Lynne, his siblings David (Debby), Lynanne (Dave Cane), Andy (Denise), and Gary (Davina). Travis will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Jeff (Becky), Matthew (Samantha), Taylor, and Jessica. Pre deceased by nephew Christopher and niece Carey.
Admired throughout the industry, Travis worked in construction for over 40 years conducting business with integrity and professionalism, serving as a mentor and friend to many. An avid cyclist, chef, and wine enthusiast. Quite simply, and elegantly so, Travis was a good man.
His memory will be cherished by family members and friends.

The family wishes to thank the incredible team of physicians at Mount Sinai Hospital. Doctors C. Swallow, A. Govindarajin, R. Burkes, and B Mah. A warm thank you to Dr. Elizabeth Amos for her tender palliative care.

Friends and Family will be received at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre (375Mount Pleasant Road; east gate entrance (416) 485 5572) on Monday July 10th, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
A Celebration of Travis’ Life will take place in the Chapel on Tuesday July 11th at 11:00am.
