Passed away at Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital. Loving husband of the late Lydia Pomykacz, father of Peter (Nieves) and Robert (Diane), grandfather of Katherine, Johnny and Ryan. John will be lovingly remembered by friends and family across Canada and Europe. Special thanks to the medical professionals at Centenary Hospital.

To John's family: My sincere condolunces to your family. I delivered Meals on Wheels to your father for many years, always on garbage day so I could bring in his garbage containers he was always such a cheerful and gracious man. My thoughts are with you at this time. Just remember the good times you had with your father, such a kind and lovely man.
