In memory of

John Perkin

March 11, 1950 -  May 15, 2018

On May 15, 2018, with family by his side, John Allan Perkin passed away peacefully at the age of 68 after a courageous battle with GBM, brain cancer.

Beloved husband to Heather (46 Years), father to Richard (Michelle), David (Lindsay) and Stephen (Stephanie), grandfather to Owen & Lochlin (Richard) and Isla & Elise (David), and son-in-law to Cameron and his late wife Ruth. He is predeceased by his parents Stan & Wilma and his brother Fred (Julia). He will be remembered by his extended family and dear friends, both in Canada and Florida.

John was a proud member of the Rameses Shriners and Master of Chinguacousy Lodge in 1998.

Our sincerest thanks to the doctors and nurses at Sunnybrook Hospital and the palliative care unit at Georgetown Hospital for the incredible support and care during this time.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research or the Georgetown Hospital Foundation.

John you will be missed by so many. We have many fond memories of you, from your wedding to Heather when I was little to our most recent when you visited Mom and Dad at the Cottage and we had some wonderful chats and shared some colourful adventures we had recently had. Rest in Peace my friend. Prayers and condolences to Heather and your children their spouses and grandchildren, other family and friends.
