In memory of

John Mark Lamont

May 29, 1965 -  October 5, 2016

(John) Mark Lamont of Don Mills, Ontario, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, in his 52nd year. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Mark will be forever loved and missed by his beloved wife Sylvie Lamont (nee Virc). He will forever have a special place in the hearts and lives of his three cherished children, Chantal (18), Tyler (16) and Mélanie (9).

Mark left this world before his mother, Betty Lamont, and took a piece of her heart with him. He was predeceased by his father, John Lamont.

Mark will be forever remembered and loved by his sister, Michelle Lamont and her husband Phil Armstrong.

He will be greatly missed by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Louise and Ladi Virc, and his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Stephen and Sonia Virc and Renée Virc, as well as his nephews, Nicolas, Alexandre and Mathieu.

He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his nieces and nephew Dayna Armstrong, Alex Lamont-Thomson and Adam McKinlay and great niece and nephew, Owen and Georgia.

Janis Blackwell was like a sister and will forever hold their treasured memories close to her heart.

Mark will be missed by aunts, uncles and cousins, along with many lifelong friends, who appreciated his humour and friendship greatly.

In lieu of flowers, the planting of a tree in a special location or memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
