John Kontozopoulos

February 18, 1933 - December 12, 2021

It is with deep sadness and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of John Kontozopoulos. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Noula of 60 years; son Tom and daughter-in-law Mina; daughter Helen and son-in-law Luke; grandson Jonathan; nephews, nieces, cousins and friends here in Canada and in Greece.

The family wishes to thank the medical team and staff at the ICU and Palliative Care Unit at Sunnybrook Hospital for their excellent care and compassion during John's illness.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the MOUNT PLEASANT FUNERAL CENTRE from 2-7 pm. This is a FULLY VACCINATED EVENT. Masks, proof of full vaccination status, along with government issued ID are required for those 12 years of age and older in order to attend the indoor funeral event.

Dear Noula, Tom, Helen and family. My deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. As I read John's obituary, I was immediately transported back in time to the all-night dances and parties our families attended together and remember the laughter, love and joy that John so generously shared with his friends and family.
