My condolences for your loss.
Words can not heal your hearts but time and the memories of his life are going to be with you always and make the pain bearable.

John and I go way back. We met at Variety Village in our 20s, dated for a while, and then became great friends over the years. John you were the most courageous, positive, strong-willed person I have ever known. I am very grateful that we remained close and I will always cherish the memories, talks, reminiscing that we shared. You were the most unselfish person I have met. Always concerned about how the other person is, rather than focusing on your own situation. But you were realistic about your situation and showed great strength through it all. The phone lines will be a little less busy from now on and that makes me sad. I know you are at peace now and no longer in pain (although you never let on) but even still I will take comfort in knowing you are finally at peace. Rest easy my friend. I also want to send my condolences to the Kamaratakis family and friends who knew John. He will be greatly missed. Love Melanie
