Sending our condolences and our love. We will forever miss Papa's stories, hearing his voice and listening to his laugh. He taught me the best way to eat chicken noodle which I have since passed on to my daughters. So, his memory will always be close.
John....the man with the FEDORA. Papa John
He always had a smile and a cheerful disposition. John was completely devoted to his grandchildren. He was present at every game (baseball, soccer, hockey) and every dance recital and school play and graduation of his many grandchildren.
He had been known to cover vast distances to attend multiple events in the same day...sometimes in very inclement weather.
John, when working from home, would drop everything to take his grandchildren to the park or schoolyard playground. Somehow the route back home would include a stop at the variety store and the kids would come back with a pocket full of candy (P.O.S'.s).
His strong influence helped to shape our kids into the fine adults that they are today.
Although he is gone...he has left his mark on all of us.
Papa John... you will be greatly missed !!

Papa you came into our lives at a time when we needed your strong presence. We will never forget the many wonderful memories we shared together.
Most of all we will remember your love of family.
You always asked and were interested to hear about your grandchildren and great grandchildren's adventures.
Introducing us all to your favourite polish cuisine of kolbassa, polish pickles and cabbage rolls.
Your many sayings taught to the grandchildren like; Go outside and blow the stink off you; If the left one don’t get you the right one will. The Polish words you taught to us that couldn’t be shared in front of Nama.
You would always laugh about feeling special that your barber flew in from the West to cut your hair.
I will forever miss our lengthy phone calls and your laughter.
We are forever grateful for the life we got to share with you, Papa.
We love you Papa, may your light forever shine.
