John "Jack" Samuel Bailey

January 27, 1930 -  August 14, 2024

It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of John (“Jack”) Samuel Bailey on August 14, 2024 on the shores of Rice Lake, Ontario at age 94.

Predeceased by his parents, Selena and Thomas, his brothers, Allan (Nancy), Wayne (Betty-Anne), as well as his sisters, Isabel (Tony), and Bernice (Bob Trask). He is also predeceased by his wife, Flossie Elizabeth Bailey (nee Aylett).

He is survived by his cherished daughter, Selena Adelaide Bailey.
He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his brothers, Robert Bailey (Barbara), Samuel Bailey (Betty) and his sister, Florence Moore (John). He will also be dearly missed by his many nephews, nieces, in-laws, friends and former coworkers.

Jack was an extraordinary artist, who could take a photo of just about anything and be able to paint it. He was wise beyond his years and was always thinking of inventions and ways to make things better.

Visitation will take place on Sunday September 1 at 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m., with A reception afterwards at The Simple Alternative Mississauga, 1535 S Gateway Road, Mississauga, ON.

Dad, you were the best Father a Daughter could ever ask for. You were my inspiration to be the best I could be. We laughed together and you were there for me when I needed a shoulder to cry on. I will never forget you and I will dearly miss you. RIP Dad. I love you.
