In memory of

John Giovanni Auciello

November 25, 1953 -  March 27, 2025

It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Giovanni (John) Auciello. He passed March 27, 2025 at the age of 71 in his apartment in Toronto. John was the son of the deceased Antonio and Rocchina Auciello. He was never married but was cherished by his siblings Mario Auciello and Mena Furgiuele, also his sister-in-law Nancy Auciello and brother-in-law Frank Furgiuele. John will also be missed dearly by his nieces and nephews Raquel and Derek Richardson, Anthony and Lidia Auciello, Marco Furgiuele and Cassandra Furgiuele as well as being great uncle to Leah and Hailey Richardson and Leo Auciello.

Born on November 25, 1953 in Anzano di Puglia, Italy. John immigrated to Toronto, Canada at the age of 13 with his family having to adapt to a new school and learn how to speak English. After graduating from high school he started working at a factory with his dad as a metal cutter. John lived his life quietly always keeping to himself and never bothered anyone. Giovanni had a deep affection for his family, the Toronto Blue Jays, watching wrestling and classic black-and-white movies. He loved to pass his time by scratching off lottery tickets with a dream of winning so big so he could share his fortune with those that he cared about and loved.
John will be remembered for being a quiet soul with a good heart.
As we say goodbye, we would like to thank all our family and friends who have supported us through this difficult time.
We love you John, forever.
May he rest in peace, until we meet again.
