July 28th, 1930 - January 21st, 2022

Peacefully at True Davidson Acres on Friday, January 21st, 2022 in his 92nd year. Loving husband of Sadie (Sarah) Graham who predeceased him in 2017. Loving father to Wendy and special family members Jean, Ashley and Derek's best pal Munchie!

Derek was born in Broughshane, Northern Ireland and immigrated to Canada where he became an Electrician - affectionally known as "Sparky" from those that worked with him. His hobbies were his massive watch / clock collection and the many hardware tools he had - he loved going to Home Depot and was thrilled when Wendy got a part time job there! His church was also very important to him.

Many thanks to everyone for their support during this difficult time. We are asking that in lieu of flowers donations be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Fund.

Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY AND FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd, TO.ON on Thursday January 27, 2022 for a Funeral Service at 11:00am with Visitation 1 hour prior. Due to COVID 19 in person attendance in limited to a minimum capacity of 28 people. Burial will take place within Pine Hills Cemetery following the conclusion of the Service.

Wendy, my condolences for the passing of your dad. Since I met you, you've taken me under your wing, as have your parents. You are a second family to me. Your parents always welcomed me into their home and treated me like a daughter. I'm so grateful for that as well as having you as my best friend. We've been through a lot. I'm here for you whenever you need me. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time girl! Luv you.

Derek was a wonderful neighbour… he used to bring in some of his neighbours’ garbage cans every week. He kept his property meticulous inside and out. Derek was always friendly and a real gentleman. We will miss him dearly.
