January 31, 1932 - December 31, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of John Cheuk Wan Lau announces his death on December 31, 2022. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years (Elsa Po King Lau), his three sons (Andy, Bob and David) and their spouses (Stella, Carol and Mary) and four grandchildren (Aaron, Allison, Keona and Cameron).

He was preceded in death by his parents (Lau Kee Kit and Lau Chun Ye) and his sister Lau Ying. He is survived by his other two sisters, Lau Yung and Lau Kwai, and his brother Shu Lum.

He will be loved and remembered forever by his family.

We were constantly amazed at the determination of Mr Lau
His daily walks up our steep hill to the park and back either in his chair or pushing it. By his side always his lovely bride giving him the encouragement not to give up and just a bit further.
He was a role model of courage to us all
