John Andrew Carter

January 28, 1959 - July 25, 2023

We are sad to announce the sudden passing of John Andrew Carter on July 25, 2023. John (JJ) was born on January 28 1959 in East York, Ontario to Edna and John Carter Sr.

JJ loved all sports and was an excellent athlete. He enjoyed playing hockey and was an avid golfer. He was also a dedicated Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

JJ was naturally an outgoing person. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He was a wizard at trivia. JJ also loved traveling, especially cruising in the Caribbean.

JJ is survived by his wife Linda, his mother Edna, brother Phil (Roberta), sister Lynn (Jim), and nephews Michael (Jess) Rob, Doug, RJ and Mark.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Simple Alternative Funeral home, 1057 Brock Rd in Pickering on Thursday, August 10th, 6 - 8 pm.

JJ you were gone too soon and you will be missed.

Gone too soon John... I will always remember our trip/drive to Florida. The hockey games on Saturday afternoons in Pickering followed by everyone getting together for drinks. So many fond memories with good friends.
