The family of John, sadly announce his passing on Wednesday May 17 2023 at Sunnybrook Hospital Toronto Ontario at age 73.
Loving father to Jamie, brother to Karen, Carol, Pauline, Jocelyn, Debbie and Kim. Uncle and Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews. We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the staff at St. Mike's Hospital. Special mention to Marnee and Esmee for their empathy, compassion and kindness given to John during his nearly year long stay. Also, to Sunnybrook Hospital
Veterans Centre, K Wing staff, for the excellent care John received.

We had many adventures trying to get off hospital property for a McDonalds Ice cream or a quest for comfortable shoes. John was always up for anything. He was a kind and strong person. He never complained despite his pain and setbacks. He will be missed, please accept my deepest condolences. Xoxox
