It is with heavy hearts that we announce John’s peaceful passing on May 18, 2023.

Dear husband of the late Peggy Anne. Cherished father of John(Donna), Sandra(Tim) and Rob. Loving grandpa of David, Julie(Rory) and Brooke-lynn(Liam). Loving great grandpa of Ryann and Lincoln. Beloved brother of Flo Dale(late Buck) and Alice Kernahan(late Bill).

Predeseased by parents Lily and Frank Gladding and siblings Jim Gladding(Edna), Audrey Hill(Don), Sonny Gladding(Eva),Lil Tobey(Fred), Herb Gladding(Barbara), Norm Gladding(Marg), Len Gladding(June), Laura Bromell(Bill),Annie MacDuffie(Red) and Walter Gladding.

John was born in Willowdale, Ontario and worked for the city of North York for over 30 years.

Many thanks to the kind staff at Bethany Lodge LTC. There will be a private service for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
