In memory of

Joey Lee

March 20, 1995 -  August 9, 2020

Though we are saddened to announce the passing of Joey Lee, we are incredibly privileged to have existed alongside this lovely woman. Joey was a beautiful person inside and out; a rare beauty in every way: educated, kind, loving, and selfless. Joey cared about those around her and always made sure to extend her love to them in any way possible. She had such a big heart and no matter what was going on, she was always there to offer a helping hand. Joey went out of her way to connect with you and she always had the right words to put a smile on your face. She was incredibly loving, joyful, sweet, genuine and full of grace. Joey had so much wisdom and she was deeply insightful with a mind that intelligently confronted injustice and eloquently sought to promote love, faith in humanity and true equity. Joey was so kind and thoughtful, always doing small things to encourage others and let them know she loved and appreciated each of them. She had an indomitable yet gentle spirit that touched every person she encountered so deeply. She was such a gift to this earth, and we will forever be grateful for having had the absolute blessing and honour of Joey in our lives.

Joey Lee, you are forever loved.

Joey was such an amazing person and classmate. I loved getting to work with her on assignments and chat with her in class. I truly feel blessed I was able to get to know Joey as she was a kind, strong, unique and beautiful person. She made everyone feel welcomed in the room and let their voice be heard. May she Rest In Peace. Sending lots of love during this time.
