In memory of

Jocelyn deLacy Stratton

December 21, 1931 -  June 23, 2023

A keen traveler who began her life in South Africa, grew up in Ottawa, and as an adult lived in Toronto, Joss found special peace and connection in summers spent at cottages on the Ottawa River, then Lake Simcoe, and finally Pine Lake. Joss will be missed by loyal friends from Victoria University at the U of T and elsewhere; her sons, Bruce (Valerie) and David (Julie); grandchildren, Madeleine, Anna, Callum, and Ella. Predeceased by sister, Pat Christie, and granddaughter, Natalie. Thank you to the staff and residents at Sagecare for a wonderfully caring and supportive environment in her last years. Funeral at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, on Thursday July 6, 2023: visitation at 10:30am, service at 11:00am. Donations may be made to the Donald K. Johnson Eye Institute (UHN Foundation) or www.muskokaconservancy.org.

Mary-Patricia Koskie (next door neighbor)

Entered October 22, 2023 from 701- 63 St, Clair Ave West

She was the first one to welcome me & then asked me in for a glass of wine. She needed me to check if I needed a top up (didn't) , a lovely & gracious woman. We exchanged travel stories as I had spent 30 years traveling & she had more so,

All my sympathy . She was lovely. I admired her ability & ability to get around. I have a neurological issue & can't walk as she did.
