In memory of

Joanne Patchett

October 29, 1963 -  March 27, 2022

On Sunday March 27th, 2022 at approximately 2:00pm,
Joanne Elizabeth MATUSH (PATCHETT), D.O.B 1963.10.29,
passed away at the age of 58.

Joanne is survived by her family-
Mother, Maureen Patchett, father, David Patchett (deceased), wonderful husband Rob,
brother Jay (Linda), sister Cheryl,
nephews, Scott (Sabrina) and Michael (Mackenzie),
daughter Merissa, son Steven (Elisha),
two grandchildren, Audrey and Ella
& her thoroughbred horse “Joey.”

Joanne was smart, intelligent, wise, strong, brave, humble, funny and a very classy lady.

She was a perfectionist, where a lot of times, second best choices were just not an option. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do when she put her mind to it.

Joanne was selfless, shared her knowledge, expertise and never left anyone one behind to fend for them self. She knew how to have fun and accepted everyone for who they were.

Joanne was “Beautiful” and a real “Cutie Pie.”

Joanne was the “Rock” of our family, our uplifting spirit, our advisor and countless times, our teacher.

Joanne wore many hats, carried so much weight on her shoulders never asking for help.

Joanne managed to conquer just about any crisis that crossed her path, except this one.

Joanne fought long and hard and tried everything she could to beat this absolutely horrifying and debilitating disease, Leukemia.

Her fight was fierce. Her bravery, her courage and her determination gave her several more years on earth to be with her friends and family, to spend more precious time with the second love of her life, her horse “Joey,” whom she loved unconditionally.

But best of all, Joanne found her absolute number one true love of her life, her best friend and married him. While this gift came late in her life, Rob’s love filled her with joy and happiness. Joanne finally found that love that not everyone is blessed enough to experience in a lifetime.

This awful decease ended the dreams for Joanne from celebrating the next 30 plus years she should have shared with all of us.

Joanne made everyday count.

We can only continue to learn from Joanne’s selflessness and will to live and we too must make every day worth living.

Joanne, we are missing you immensely, we will always love you and you will never leave our hearts.

Forever loving you, you are my best friend,

Your sister forever,

Cheryl
