We mournfully announce the passing of Joan Roseby Goulding (Anderson). At the age of 87 she passed away on January 28th, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after a difficult battle with Covid-19.

Joan was born in Toronto in December of 1934 but spent her childhood in the north of England. Joan was married in 1955 to Robert G Goulding (deceased) of Toronto. Joan and Robert raised three sons and a daughter. Joan lived in Joplin, Missouri for over 18 years, she was an active member of the Arthritis Association. In her late 50's, she attended Missouri Southern State University where she worked towards a BA in costume design. Joan always loved her sewing and embroidery throughout her life. She returned to Canada after the death of her husband, residing in the Pickering area.

Joan and Robert now leave to cherish their loving memory through their daughter, Geraldine Hollinger, son in law Brian Hollinger, and their two grandchildren Brianna Hollinger and Alexander Hollinger of Pickering. She will also be sadly missed by her niece Victoria Eason whom Joan loved like a daughter. Everyone who knew her will always remember her bright energy and kind and giving spirit.
