In memory of

Joan Mary Paolone (nee Shewchuk)

February 26, 1938 -  October 8, 2022

Joan was called by her heavenly family peacefully Saturday morning.

Beloved wife of Pasquale Paolone (late), loving mother to Marisa (Ayman), her beloved son Gregory (late) and late parents Vera and Simeon.

She is survived by her sister, Helen (Fred), grandchildren—Nathaniel, Daniel (Stephanie), as well as nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by her countless friends and extended family.

Her greatest sparkle came from her much loved great-grandson Jordan.

She will be forever missed.

We know that she will continue to watch over us and guide us through the rest of our lives on earth.
We will carry her forever in our hearts.
Until we meet again.

I will always love my Zia Joanie. Thank you for all of the beautiful memories: Christmas and Easter feasts, visits at the kitchen table, admiring the vegetable garden, sitting on the porch watching the world go by, walks in James Gardens, big weddings dancing the night away, waking up in the hospital to see yours and Marisa's smiling faces, long distance phone calls to hear the voice I knew from infancy, the voice that prayed me into being. You are born in the world beyond now, Zia, and I will pray for your happiness in the realm of eternal delight. Love from all of us to all who love you in this world and the next.
