Passed away peacefully at the age 81 on Thursday May 31, 2018. Dear daughter of Hilda and Harry Mount. Beloved wife of the late Victor James Cook. Loving mom to Steven (Karen) and Jason (Jennifer). JOAN will be special forever in their hearts. Nanny to Samantha (Ken), Adam, Joshua, Rebecca , Sophie and Aiden. Cherish Fur mom to Max her cat. Joan will be missed by many family and friends. A Celebration of life will be held at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1057 Brock Rd Pickering, on July 7th at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made in Joan’s memory to The Toronto Humane Society or The Toronto Zoo. Memories will live in our hearts till we meet again.

Dear Steve and family,

my deepest sympathies for the death of your Mom. From Steve’s stories, she sounded like a remarkable and strong spirit who loved her family dearly and was in turn cherished by them. The loss of a parent is so very difficult. I hope you find comfort knowing that she is no longer suffering and wants only joy for her loved ones. You took such good care of her, now time to rest.
