Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Providence Villa at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Nevin Golding. Cherished mother of Tammy and Jacqueline. Treasured grandmother of Tiffiny, Jessica, Richard, Jacob, Autumn and Andrew; and her 13 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 2 p.m. with a memorial gathering an hour prior. Inurnment to follow in Pine Hills Cemetery. Family invites everyone to join them for refreshments at the Tara Inn for a traditional Irish wake following the services at graveside.

If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

I have so many dear memories of Joan, I always loved to sit in the backyard with her. I’m just reminisce that the old times. Her beautiful smile, her endless laughter, and unconditional love. Thank you, God for the time you’ve granted me with Joan, I will treasure it forever. Until we meet again, you will be in my thoughts and prayers daily.
