Joan Elizabeth Meggitt

March 7, 1963 -  August 2, 2024

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Elizabeth Meggitt on August 2, 2024.
Joan was the daughter of Frank Meggitt and Patricia Karp and Stepdaughter to Jeff Karp. She was the sister to Jeff and sister-in-law to Collette, Stepsister to Xantha Karp and Dagan Karp.

With Joan’s love for animals, she is welcoming donations to the Ontario Humane Society in lieu of flowers.

While we sadly never had the delight of meeting Joan in person, we did enjoy the pleasure of hearing all about her from her family. Her loving mother especially told tales of Christmases and cruises and “girls’ nights” full of laughter. Likewise, her brother’s devotion to Joan was remarkable. Surrounded by her extended family, Joan was certainly loved. We send our deepest condolences, our heartfelt sympathy, and the faith that Joan’s light will blaze forever.
