사랑하는 사람들에게 둘러싸여 있던 신진만(제프)은 60세의 나이로 짧고 용감한 암 투병 끝에 6월 1일 세상을 떠났습니다. 그는 아내 옥순(이)과 그의 자녀들인 소라와 다니엘에 의해 살아 남았고 사랑스럽게 기억됩니다. 그는 많은 친구, 동료 및 이웃에게 좋은 기억으로 남을 것입니다.

신진만은 1961년 7월 31일 대한민국 서울에서 태어났습니다. 자라면서 그는 재능있는 드러머였으며 클래식 록 음악을 즐겨 들었습니다. 한국의 청주대학교와 호주의 퍼스에서 기계공학을 전공했습니다. 진만과 옥순은 1992년 결혼한 후 1994년 캐나다로 이민을 갔고 공군에서 시간을 보내고 비행기와 비행에 대한 사랑으로 항공 우주 산업에서 길고 자랑스러운 경력을 쌓았습니다. 그는 그의 놀라운 직업 윤리와 집요한 정신으로 잘 알려져 있습니다. 그는 열성적인 권투 팬이었고 금요일 밤에 위스키 한 잔을 즐기는 것을 좋아했습니다. 쉬는 시간에는 정원 가꾸기, 하이킹, 문화 및 자연 다큐멘터리 감상을 즐겼습니다.

Surrounded by his loved ones, Jinman (Jeff) Shin at age 60 passed away on June 1st, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Oksoon (Lee), and his children, Sola and Daniel. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends, colleagues, and neighbours.

Jinman was born in Seoul, South Korea on July 31st, 1961. Growing up, he was a talented drummer and enjoyed listening to classic rock music. He studied mechanical engineering at Cheongju University in South Korea, and in Perth, Australia. Jinman and Oksoon married in 1992, then immigrated to Canada in 1994 where he enjoyed a long and proud career working in the aerospace industry, as he spent time in the air force and had a love for planes and flying. He is well known for his incredible work ethic and tenacious spirit. He was an enthusiastic boxing fan, and loved having a glass of whiskey on friday nights. On his time off he enjoyed gardening, hiking, and watching cultural and nature documentaries.

A devoted husband and father, a foundation for his family, and a pillar of strength, Jinman will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
