Jim Chun Man Chan 陳振文

February 20, 1929 -  September 26, 2016

Jim Chun Man Chan passed away on September 26 at the Chartwell Avondale Retirement Residence.
Jim is survived by his wife (Yuet Sim), sons John, Tom (Elaine Wong), daughters Jeanne (Larry Chan), Mae (Ian Campbell), four grandchildren Mitchell, Nicholas, Elayne (Dylan Penebre), Lesley (Kenneth Rose), great grandchildren Joey Penebre, Cadence Penebre, Scarlette Penebre, Kaitlynn Rose and sister Elizabeth (Jerry Ngee) .

Jim was active with the Hong Luck Kung Fu Club as a teacher and mentor. He never missed a day of swimming at the downtown YMCA with the exception of Sundays when he went to the club, Christmas and New Year's Day.

Jim was kind and humble, generous, devoted to his family and was active well into his 80's.
