In memory of

Jessie Ann Crowells

March 4, 1938 -  November 4, 2023

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother on Saturday November 4, 2023 at the age of 85, with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Lorne. Survived by her two daughters Penny Debow (Mike) and Wendy Cumming (Dave). Her granddaughter Victoria (Craig) and great-granddaughter Beatrix. Jessie was the sister of the late Joyce, Fred, John and Gladys. She will be deeply missed by her extended family and many friends. Jessie was an active community member, who spend her time volunteering for Community Care of Durham and started an outreach program in the United Church. She also started a knitting group who would donate their items to people in the Northwest Territories. She sat on the Board of Stewarts for the Hampton United Church and Rectors Warden for 12 years at St. Marks Anglican Church. Jessie will be remembered for her strong faith, and volunteer work. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the YWCA NWT, would be much appreciated.
