Jean Webb (nee Cooke) September 2, 1932 – October 31, 2022

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Jean passed on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Chester Village Long Term Care Home peacefully with her daughters by her side. Loving wife of the late Wilbert (Bill) Webb, much loved mother of Marilyn (Steve), Jackie, Cindy (John), Nancy and Susan.

Proud Grandma of Vicki (Duece), Jennifer (Jeff), Brendan (Hailey), Andrew (Nikki), Amanda (Craig), Michael and Jessica. Great-Grandma of Josie, Jasmine, Isaiah, Jacob, Mallory, James and Morgan.

The family would like to thank the staff at Chester Village especially those working in the House of Emerald, for the care and kindness they provided to our Mom for the last 7 years.

Our hearts are broken and we will miss our Mom dearly but we take comfort knowing she is now at peace. “A Mother’s hug lasts long after she has let go”.

A private Family service will be held and interment at Stephenson Memorial Cemetery in Port Sydney, Ontario at a later date.

In Memory of Jean, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated.
