In memory of

Jean Tam

October 30, 1959 -  December 15, 2023

Our beloved sister, Jean, passed away peacefully on Friday December 15, 2023 after a brave battle with cancer, remaining stoic to the very end.

We will always be grateful that we had her in our lives and for all the good care that she took of us. We will miss her more than words can say.

Though Jean was a private person, and even somewhat shy, her love of people shone always through, doing the little things that made such a difference in everyone's life. She made everyone's favourite cookies, engaged in the personal stories and remembered all the small details, and loved the Christmas shopping and birthday gift buying.

She is survived by her sisters Mary (David), Mee-Lai, brothers Ying Kuen (Sylvia), Ying Kee (Trish), and nieces, Madeleine, Jasmine, Jade and nephew, Aidan.

A private family service for the celebration of Jean's life will be held in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Jean's memory to The Canadian Cancer Society, an organization that Jean cared about.

Our family would like to thank everyone for all their kindness and support during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear an out Jean. I have worked with Jeah for more than 20 years. She was very private but once you got in she was a sweetheart.

My condolences to the family.

My sincerest condolences to Jean’s family. I worked at Equifax with Jean for many years. She was always kind and had a good word about everyone. Whenever you asked Jean a question she was always ready and willing to help. She will be missed.

My sincere condolences on the passing of your dear sister. Jean and I worked together from 1989 till she was no longer with Equifax. Myself and Terry Di Carlo would continue to catch up with Jean at least once a quarter for dinner but unfortunately that get together fell by the wayside with Terry retiring and then myself. Jean was an amazing employee always so dedicated to her clients providing them with the very best service never hesitating to go the extra mile. Her kindness to her fellow employees was shown in her yearly Xmas shortbread treats which many looked forward to! May Jean rest in eternal peace for she will be missed ❤️🙏
