Jean Muriel Felstead (nee Lageer)

December 19, 1925 - May 2, 2025

On May 2, 2025, Jean passed away peacefully, with family at her side. She is survived by her 3 children, Jack (Joy), William (Karen), Norma Jean (Ron); 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Jean will be remembered for her faith, spunk, creativity and funloving approach to life. A memorial service is being held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Pine Hills Chapel, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, ON. Visitation from 12:00-2:00 PM. Memorial service at 2:00 PM followed by interment. Donations in Jean's memory may be made to St. Clair Evangelical Missionary Church, Buckingham Manor Retirement Residence in Stouffville, Markham Stouffville Hospital, Pregnancy Care Centre Toronto, any charity to support neglected/homeless animals, such as Northern Connection Rescue or Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary.

Jean was an amazing woman with so much strength and ability to overcome. She seemed always quick to smile and have a laugh and enjoyed a good time with family and friends. With great creative talents she was always busy with sewing and quilting and proudly kept up her challenging work on puzzles. She was wishing to maintain as long as possible her independence and was able to do so and remain in her own home for most of her life with the love and caring support of her amazing family and Pablo at her side! The glint in her eye , and her great laugh and her ability to see humour in many situations showed her strong self and her determination to enjoy every minute of life!
