December 13, 1943 – January 15, 2018

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Jean on January 15, 2018. Beloved wife and loving soul mate of Peter for over 50 years. Mother to Andrea (Mark) and Leanne (Chris). Adoring Nanny to Sydney, Emma, Wyatt and Cash. Jean’s resilience, strength and love for her family never waned. She will be greatly missed, and never forgotten. Visitation will be held at A Simple Alternative Funeral Home, 1535 S Gateway Road, Mississauga (905-602-1580), on Saturday March 3, 2018 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Funeral service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society of Peel.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Jean, I felt that I knew her through the stories that Leanne would share. What I do know is that she left her legacy with her caring, strong & talented daughters and granddaughter's. God bless.
