Jason Capelas Gomes passed away suddenly on February 28, 2023. He was born on November 21, 1989 to Julio and Filomena Gomes.

Jason was always true to who he was and what he believed in. He made friends very easily. He accepted all cultures and was always willing to try out new things.
All his friends knew they could call him if they needed help with anything. He was dependable, loyal and willing to go to the end for the people in his life. Jason was always the one cracking jokes and bringing life to a party.

Jason is survived by his parents, Julio and Filomena, his older brothers, Adam and David. he is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, sister in laws, niece and nephew.

Please join us for a Memorial Service on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
Visitations will begin at 4pm in the Richmond Hall at the Elgin Mills Funeral Centre.
Funeral service will start at 5pm.
Light snack and refreshment to follow.

Jay, you shined brighter than any star in the sky. I couldn’t have asked for a better best friend. My memories with you will live on forever and not a day will go by your not with me.
