In memory of

Jasmine Spence

November 8, 1940 -  April 28, 2021

It is with great sadness and much love that we mourn the passing of Jasmine Spence of Toronto on April 28, 2021 at the age of 80 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Janet, Leon, Patrick, Neil and Anthony; her two sisters; her many nieces and nephews; grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her many friends and church community.

She was a devout Christian who loved to help others. She enjoyed tending to her garden, reading the bible, listening to music and making the world’s best rum cake. She will be sorely missed. Sweet dreams, Jasmine. Although you have left us, we know you are at peace and are dancing with ancestors who have gone before you.

A Visitation will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Rd. in Toronto. Her Funeral will follow at 2 pm. Virtual access will be available starting at 1 pm.

Memorial donations may be made in Jasmine’s name to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Two charities that were close to her heart.

Never had the chance to meet you in person... Maybe as a small child, but my mother, ( your Aunt Lolly) spoke about you all the time in a loving way. So I will miss you, but you will always be with us in spirit.

Your Creator has called you home. Rest in Peace 🌷
