In memory of

Janos Kovac

April 29, 1955 -  June 9, 2024

Janos Kovac, 69, of Toronto, passed away on June 9th, 2024 after complications from pancreatic cancer.

Janos was born in Novi Sad, to father Janos (Senior) and mother Katica. He loved playing in his rock band “Zipp” during his young adulthood. Janos also worked in the petroleum industry before moving to Canada in 1989. He worked several small jobs in Southern Ontario before landing a career with Dupont. On evenings and weekends, Janos studied to become a Psychotherapist and after several years got his Masters. He cared and listened to his clients right up until his last days.

Janos married Snezana in the Fall of 1979 and had two children, Robert and Andrea. He spent most of his later years enjoying bicycle rides, pickleball matches, travelling, and being a foodie with Snezana.

Janos was a devoted husband, loving father, caring therapist and passionate musician and will be missed by many who have been blessed to meet him.

In leu of flowers at Janos's celebration of life, we ask that you donate instead to the Hospital Organization that took great care of him in his last weeks.
