In memory of

Janice Shuk Yin Chow - 周李淑賢夫人安息

September 9, 1948 -  July 28, 2024

Janice Shuk Yin Chow was born on September 9, 1948 in Canton City, China. She was the third of seven children in the family, with 2 older sisters, and 4 younger siblings (1 sister and 3 brothers).

Janice married Joe Shui Yim Chow on June 26, 1974 and raised three children, Pamela, Jeffery, and Raymond. Janice was grateful to have five grandchildren, Nathaniel, Mikayla, Oliver, Tyler and Adelyn.

Whenever she was not busy, she would pick up her knitting or crochet, eventually teaching her grand-daughter her first stitch. She had the opportunity to see parts of the world with her husband and dear friends, treasuring memories that will always be dear to her heart.

On August 13, 2022, Janice was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. Since then, she put her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and was baptized on June 11, 2023. As she battled against cancer over the next year, she found the courage in Jesus Christ to continue persevering through her struggles, trusting that the Lord was with her every step of the way.

Janice passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024 at the age of 75 with her family by her bedside. She was well loved by her husband and children.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society https://cancer.ca/en/ or a charitable organization dear to your heart.
