Janice Matush

We are mourning the loss of Janice Matush, who sadly passed away on Saturday, November 7th, 2020 at the age of 56 after a long battle with colon cancer.

Janice was born on January 4th, 1964 in Toronto, Ontario, to Gordon and Barbara Stewart. She is survived by her husband Rob Matush and her son Keith Matush. She was a sister to Phyllis (John) Hardie, Joyce (John) Scott, Myrna (Tom) Young and Debbie (Mike) Saunders. She was also a sister in law to Oryst (Joanne) Matush and Jerry (Kelly) Matush. She leaves behind nieces and nephews, including Christine (Kevin) Browne, Stephanie Hardie, Johanne (Doug) Taylor, Gordon (Nubia) Scott, Janice Kormendy, Jeff (Melissa) Young, Scott Young, Chris (Adele) Saunders, Jennifer Saunders, Andrew Matush, Devin Matush, Spencer Matush, Brayden Matush and Charly Matush, in addition to many more great nieces and nephews.

Janice was a caring wife and loving mother, giving her all to those around her. She was a friend to all, loved by many and will be dearly missed.

In honour of Janice, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
