Passed away peacefully on June 10, 2018 at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa. Loving wife of Michael Thompson. Cherished mom of Michael Thompson Jr, and devoted grandmother of Logan Thompson. Loving sister of Marjorie Barrett, Malvia Barrett, Beverly Barrett, Dalton Barrett, Elliott Barrett. Janice was predecease by her loving parents Eric Barrett, and Patricia Barrett. Family and friends can be received at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre- Pickering, 1057 Brock Road (Brock Road & 401) on Friday June 29, 2018 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday June 30, 2018 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment Duffin Meadows.
