Jang Hong Lam 林長棠

November 22, 1930 - April 29, 2022

Jang Hong Lam (林長棠) passed away peacefully on April 29th, 2022 at the age of 91 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Soo Jing Lam, of 71 years, his two sons, James and Wayne, his daughter-in-law, Kit (Susan), and his two grandsons, Corbin and Christopher.

Jang Hong was born in Guanghai, Taishan, Guangdong Province in China. He will be remembered for his patience, kindness, and passion for calligraphy and Tai Chi.

Visitation will be held at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Rd., Toronto (south of Eglinton, north of St. Clair Ave., 416-485-5572) on Thursday, May 12th, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., service at 2:15 p.m., interment to follow at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Our heartfelt condolences to the Lam family. As long as we”ve known him, he was a kind and gentle man, never bothered anyone and was always a loving father, grandfather, father-in- law and husband.
