In memory of

Janey Pin-Chen Ching 程吳品珍

September 4, 1934 -  April 30, 2024

We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved matriarch, at the age of 89. She was the cornerstone of her family, embodying kindness, sincerity, and an unwavering dedication to the wellbeing of her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her radiant smile and genuine warmth touched all who knew her, leaving a lasting imprint on countless hearts.

Throughout her life, she cherished her role within the family, always placing their needs and happiness above her own. An avid player of mahjong on her iPad, she was renowned for her sharp memory and keen attention to detail, often recounting cherished memories with precision and affection. Her culinary skills were legendary, from her mouth-watering wontons to her delightful potato salad and egg dumplings. She often quipped, "Ginseng tea cures all," a testament to her belief in nurturing both body and spirit.

Her commitment to authenticity and dignity remained steadfast through the years, always ensuring she was as presentable as she was kind-hearted. Her elegance and grace were as much a part of her as her generous spirit. As we say goodbye, we reflect on a life well-lived and profoundly impactful. She was not just the sweetest grandmother, mother and wife, but also a true friend and a beacon of sincerity and love. Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished in our memories and hearts.
