Janet Cicely Ho Chung Mohamid

September 4, 1935 -  April 30, 2021

We sadly announce that Janet Cicely Ho Chung Mohamid, 85, of Scarborough, Ontario peacefully passed on April 30, 2021.

Janet was predeceased by her parents Arthur Milton and Ida Agatha Ho Chung, siblings Dean Khan, Robert Whitney and Shirley Chin and spouse Sheer Mohamid.

Janet was born on September 4, 1935 in Georgetown, Guyana. On April 25, 1956, Janet and Sheer wed at Rattray Memorial Congregational Church in Belle Vue, Demerara. She dedicated her life to her surviving seven children, June, Derek, Denzil, Colin, Amanda, Paul, and Carolyn. She is also survived by her sister Molly Hing, 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Janet had an unwavering faith in God. As she departs from us, she enters his kingdom of forever love and peace. She will be dearly missed and always lovingly remembered.

I am Resurrection and I am Life, says the Lord. Whoever has faith in me shall have life, even though they die. And everyone who has life, and is committed to me in faith, shall not die for ever. (John 11:25-26)
