GROUNDS, Janet Faulds (Smith) - passed peacefully on August 20, 2017 in her 85th year. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 56 years, Christopher and daughters Fiona (Scott), Annalie (Todd), and Vanessa (Michael) and by her grandchildren, Mark, Andrea, Kyle, Victoria, Brett, Jeffery, Ian, Julia and Alison. Beloved sister of Kenneth Smith (Jacqueline). Predeceased by her stillborn son, sister Sadie Scouse and brother James Smith. Janet trained as a nurse in the U.K. before moving with Chris, Fiona and Annalie to make a new life in Canada in 1966. She relished the role of stay-at-home mum before working at the local LCBO, from where she retired in 1998. She was loved by many friends and extended family. We love you, Jinty. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Salvation Army or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
