In memory of

Janet Caverly

November 27, 1935 -  January 1, 2021

CAVERLY, Janet Ruth

Passed away peacefully at home on January 1, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Bruce (1998) and by son Scott (1966). Loving mother of Brent (Jacquie), Shari (John) and Trevor (Karen). Adored grandmother of Branden (Vanessa), Symon (Lisa), Jordan, Ayla (Alan), Spencer (Kelsey), Jared (Sel), Ella, Nya, Jacob, and Dillon. Great grandmother of Reese and Esmée – with two new additions to the family due in February and May of 2021. Jan had many memories shared with family and friends for over 25 years in Bobcaygeon. She lived in Bowmanville for the last 15 years to be closer to her growing family. Jan loved to be with family especially when she became a Great Grandmother. Her smile always radiated when she was with Reese and Esmée. Janet will be remembered for her love for animals. She called them her “furry” grandchildren; always a little treat in the cupboard when they came to visit along with a head scratch. Due to COVID-19, no formal funeral will take place, arrangements entrusted to THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787). In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice - or take the time to give a Blood Donation something Janet relied on near the end of her life.

“We will all miss Mom so much and will cherish the moments we shared together. Love you Forever.”

It saddens me to see that your lovely Mom has died. I hope that despite all of these restrictions that we currently live with, you can find a way to celebrate her life such that your pain is softened, and your heart is filled with love. Blessings ❤️

My sincere condolences Brent, Shari and Trevor. Your mom was a very special and important person in my life. Our mom's were certainly the best of friends growing up in Saginaw, Michigan and then marrying 2 Canadian boy's. We were all so very close! May your mom be at peace now. Thinking of you all at this very difficult time. Hugs ❤🙏 Jane Walker
