Our family is sad to announce the passing of our Father, Grandpa, Brother and Uncle, James Toland. Husband to the love of his life the late Maureen (McShane), Father to Vanessa and her husband Michael and to John and his wife Angela. Grandpa to Sierra, Dylan, Cole, Avery and Gavin. Brother to Phyllis, Myra, Madeline, Emmon, Clare, Martin and Breidge and Uncle to many nieces and nephews all in Derry, N Ireland. The only thing he loved as much as his family was music. He was a talented musician who found his way to Canada in 1966 with his showband and he continued to play in many bands over the years. He loved and played many genres of music and instilled his love and passion for music in his family and friends. His voice and the sound of his guitar (his blonde) will be missed.
