In memory of

James Sidney Bell

December 3, 1951 -  December 12, 2021

James Sidney Bell
Born December 3 1951
Passed December 12 2021

It’s with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved “Jim Bob”.
Loving Son to Peter & Josie; Brother to Steve (Nora) and Jan (Dave), Father to Sarah Cheesecake, Co-parent to Sylvie, and Uncle to Warren, Alysha, Jamie and Mikey. Jimmy was the joker of our family; He had a quick wit, a sly smile and was always ready to tell a joke and share a laugh. A deep lover of music, Jim was a lifelong devotee of the Golden Age of Rock N Roll, especially his beloved Beatles and Rolling Stones. Everywhere Jim went the radio was playing, and the chances are he knew everything there was to know about who/what was coming through the speakers. Special thanks to the incredible staff at Fieldstone Commons; (Brenda and Angela) for their loving and greatly appreciated care of James for the past 12 years. You were family to him as well!
In lieu of flowers, we would like to encourage donations to the Diabetes Society and/or the MS Society of Canada. Visitation will be held at 10am Saturday December 18, 2021 at Pine Hills Cemetery, with service to follow at 11am. Attendance will be limited due to Covid-19 restrictions, and all attendees will need to provide proof of vaccination upon entry.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Jim Bell. Although we were unable to see Jim regularly due to distance, I have fond memories of Jim growing up in Toronto at family gatherings. He will always be fondly remembered for his dry humour, quick wit and love of music.
