James passed peacefully from this life on the morning of June 8th. He was surrounded and supported by his family and caregivers during the last days of his life. James was born in Piarco, Trinidad but has been a Canadian since 1993. In 1993, after raising his children, James and his wife Elaine, retired to beautiful Mississauga, Ontario, where he lived the remainder of his life.

James is survived by his six children and their spouses: Jennifer & Peter Cassell, Michael & Jasmin David, Ann Marie & Hazare Nanan, Debra & Thomas Allen, Christine & David Seecharan, and Jacinta & Dave Seenath.

Thirteen grandchildren and their spouse: Nancy & Roberto Escobar, Andre Cassell, Nelly Nanan, Jesse Cassell, Seema David, David Seenath, Krystal Seecharan, Sheena David, Joseph Seecharan, Sasha David, Karen Seenath, Keely Allen and Kyleigh Allen.
Two great grandchildren: Carlos Escobar and Bianca Escobar.

James is also survived by his siblings: Edward, Kholahal & Ena.
